This 1950’s old New Zealand Railways bus is a treasure to behold. We like to call it ‘HardTop Camping’! If quirky camping is your thing? then this accommodation is for you. Tastefully updated to include your own shower, gas oven/stove, bench, fire, super comfy single bed, table and chairs, and a recliner for evening relaxation.
Complete with all the cooking utensils you will need, and a wonderful view across the paddocks to ‘Mt Arthur’ Tuao Wharepapa, this is kiwi camping at its best! Outside along a gravel path you have a long drop toilet (shared with parkover/campers), and a paddock of friendly animals, orchard and outdoor seating areas.

One night in the bus which includes:
– Shower towel and spare blanket. Please bring your own linen or sleeping bags.
– Gas for the cooking and shower facilities.
